Participative Science Museum

A great museum for kids to get hands-on with science.

Founded in 1988, this museum is fun for all the family, and especially for little ones. There are no "please don't touch" signs here because it's all about encouraging youngsters to gets hands-on and develop and interest in science through play and interaction.

Exhibits promote scientific questioning and learning through doing, encouraging children to develop an interest in science and the world around them. Extra activities are usually offered during school holiday periods.

The museum is located inside the Centro Cultural Recoleta and has several themed rooms on visual perception, mechanics, technology, natural forces, electricity, light, art, food and sound.
