Raul Scalabrini Ortíz National Railway Museum

Explore the history of Argentina's railways.

The Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz Railway Museum looks back at a time when Argentina had one of the largest train networks in the world, and highlights the historic importance of the railway in the country's economic, technological and cultural development.

Objects in the museum's collection include vehicles, models, telephones and telegraph equipment from the late 19th and early 20th century. The railway has a Center of Railway Studies and a library with historic documents, photographs, and charts.

Open Monday - Sunday, 10am-6pm.

Closed on public holidays.
