The Ávila bookstore has been at this location opposite the Iglesia de San Ignacio and the Colegio Nacional since Argentina first existed, and is is closely connected to the growth of the country's culture. The store has a significant collection of old and rare books on a wide range of subjects, from history and anthropology to linguistics and literature.
