When: Tuesday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm in winter, and 8am to 7pm in summer.
The Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur is one of the world’s largest urban nature reserves and one of the most important in Latin America. It is home to a vast range of biodiversity, including hundreds of species of birds, amphibians, fish and mammals.
There are six paths to explore, covering 10km. Each is characterised by a different environment. The Wetlands and River circuits are recommended for visiting with children because they are the shortest routes.
Entry is free. The reserve may close during periods of strong rains or winds.
