The Cabildo was the site of the May Revolution of  1810, which marked the start of the construction of Argentina as an independent country. As a result, the building has an iconic position in the country's history. The museum looks at this pivotal moment, exploring the colonial period and subsequent revolution. It offers innovative and unconventional exhibits through which children can learn about history through play.
