“Do Touch” Participatory Science Museum
This museum inside Centro Cultural Recoleta houses interactive exhibitions that promote learning through play.
Where: Centro Cultural Recoleta, Junín 1930, Recoleta.
When: during school season, Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. From July 22 to August 2 from Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 7.30pm; Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 3.30pm to 7.30pm.
 
The slogan of the Museo Participativo de Ciencias is “Do Touch”.
 
Using this reversal of the traditional “Don’t Touch” instruction at museums, this unique spaces allows kids to get hands on and to learn through play. It offers a journey through different scientific phenomena in which youngsters can observe, touch, try and experiment.
