Museo Mundial del Tango (world tango museum)

Museum dedicated to Buenos Aires' native dance, also housing the National Academy of Tango.

This museum occupies a large part of the Palacio Carlos Gardel and also hosts the Academia Nacional del Tango (National Academy of Tango). It traces the history of tango from 1850 until the present day and includes an exhibition of photographs of major tango artists by Annemarie Heinrich. There's also a shop selling CDs and other items.
