La Rural
45,000 sq metre exhibition ground and venue for Argentina's biggest country fair.
Founded in 1878, La Rual is one of the city's main exhibition spaces. It belongs to the Sociedad Rural Argentina, an association of some of the country's biggest farmers and landowners and boasts 45,000m2 of covered exhibition space spread over six pavillions, and a further 10,000m2 of outdoor space and an underground parking lot.
La Rural is the venue for the traditional farm and animal show, the Exposición de Ganadería, Agricultura e Industria, every July, as well as for other important festivals and conventions, such as the annual book festival.
