Creole Museum

This museum in Mataderos, the neighbourhood where the city met the countryside, displays many items from the gaucho and creole traditions of rural Argentina. The ideal thing to do is to go on a Sunday and combine it with a visit to the Feria de Mataderos

The museum has six rooms dedicated to gaucho clothing, uniforms, weapons, local animals and more. It has an old bar (pulpería), chapel, stable and a patio with a well.
