This museum is dedicated to the work of eccentric Argentine artist Alejandro Xul Solar (1887-1963), one of the most notable personalities of the Latin American vanguard in the 20th century.
The museum is based in the artist's former home, also home to the Fundación Pan Klub, created by Xul Solar's wife Micaela Cadenas in 1986, following the artist's original plans for a cultural space that would serve as a meeting point for artists and intellectuals.
It exhibits pieces chosen by Xul Solar himself for the Pan Klub, as well as objects and documents from the artist's personal collection, and his library of some 3,500 books.
Guided tours are offered at 4.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 3.30pm on Saturdays (in Spanish).
