Teatro General San Martín

The Teatro San Martín is one of Buenos Aires' most important cultural centres, attracting more than a million visitors every year to see theatre, film and art.

Since its opening in the 1960s, the theatre has been of vital importance to the city's cultural scene and a reference point worldwide. The 30,000m²​ space includes three stages, a cinema and several exhibition rooms. It's also the home of a contemporary ballet company and an internationally recognised puppetry group, both of which hold workshops on-site.
