Parque Mujeres Argentinas

Inaugurated in 2007, this park pays tribute to Argentina's women (many of the streets in the Puerto Madero neighbourhood are named after famous women). The park has a large central square, and different levels offering a panoramic view of the area. The park is planted with typical native trees: jacarandaes, araucarias, magnolias and tipas. It was designed by the architects Irene Joselevich, Graciela Novoa, Alfredo Garay, Néstor Magariños, Carlos Verdecchia, Adrián Sebastián, Marcelo Vida and Eduardo Cajide, who also designed the nearby Parque Micaela Bastidas.
