Centro Metropolitano de Diseño

The largest centre of design in Latin America and a hub for creative talent.

With 14,000m2 of space, the Metropolitan Design Centre (CMD) is the largest centre of design in Latin America. Located on the regenerated site of the city's former fish market, it was created by the city government in 2001 to promote the work of new and innovative designers in Buenos Aires and help the city's creative economy.

It hosts boutiques offering unique items of design, as well as a museum and workshops and training centres covering a range of disciplines.
