As of March 20, 2020 and by Decree 297/20, the entire country entered a period of social,

preventive and obligatory isolation.

What does this mean?

That you cannot leave your home except to provide yourself with essential items, such as food,

cleaning supplies and medicines.

If you do not comply with these rules, you are breaking the law.

If you have traveled to a country where the virus is spreading or have been in contact with

someone who tested positive, you must stay in isolation for 14 days.

Centro Metropolitano de Diseño

The largest centre of design in Latin America and a hub for creative talent.

With 14,000m2 of space, the Metropolitan Design Centre (CMD) is the largest centre of design in Latin America. Located on the regenerated site of the city's former fish market, it was created by the city government in 2001 to promote the work of new and innovative designers in Buenos Aires and help the city's creative economy. 

It hosts boutiques offering unique items of design, as well as a museum and workshops and training centres covering a range of disciplines.
