Buenos Aires Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA)

MACBA is a private museum promoted by collector Aldo Rubino to acquire, conserve, document and exhibit both national and international contemporary art.

Founded in 2012, it boasts a broad collection of art exploring the potential of new visual languages, including a strong collection of Latin America abstract geometric works, and pieces by international artists like Lozza, Le Parc, Vasarely, Iommi and Kosice, as well as Argentine artists Fabián Burgos, Verónica Di Toro, Lucio Dorr, Pablo Siquier and many more.

The museum aims to promote dynamism in Argentine art and generate spaces for dialogue among artists, curators, students, researchers and the public.

Discounts are available for students, teachers and pensioners. Entry is free for under fives.

Open Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 11.00am - 7.00pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 11.00am - 7.30pm.
Closed on Tuesdays.
