The "cathedral of polo" hosts some of the best polo in the world. 

The highlight of the calendar is the annual Argentine Open polo tournament, which takes place in late spring (November - December). The competition is recognised as the most important inter-club polo tournament in the world, and one of the most exciting sporting events you can see.

Seeing the skill of the players at close hand makes an impact on every spectator.

The venue, which opened in 1928, also hosts concerts and other sports events, including hockey and "pato", Argentina's national sport.
