Buenos Aires Extremo is the city's annual extreme sports and urban art festival. Past editions have attracted around 25,000 people, with international professional skateboarding and freestyle BMX competitions, performances by local rock bands and DJs, live street art, and skateboarding, BMX, inline skating and slackline clincs for both beginners and advanced athletes. 

The competitions, including a "best trick" category, will be certified by the AASK skateboarding association and the ABMXBA  freestyle BMX association.

Other activities include sustainability workshops, and visitors will be able to play a "sustainable" guitar, created by Buenos Aires' Centro Metropolitano de Diseño using 3D printing.
