Burgio

A pizza joint that's preserved its essence since 1935.

The interior decor, right down to the counter, the wall-mounted fans and the blackboard with plastic letters, remains just as it was when the Italian Giuseppe Burgio opened this pizzeria in 1935, making entering this place feel like travelling in time. The pizzas also remain loyal to the original recipes and are served deep-pan, spongey and loaded with cheese. Don't forget to check the desserts on displat.

Inauguration: 1935

Speciality: deep-pan pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven
