6:30pm – Carlos Gardel House Museum

Four blocks from the station we reach the Museo Casa Carlos Gardel (Jean Jaures 735) in the Almagro neighbourhood, where there is a large open-air display of Porteño fileteado on the facades of six houses in the surrounding area, with dragons, flowers with five petals, swans and Argentine flags. These artistic interventions were made in the year 2004 as part of a competition organised by the renowned contemporary fileteador Alfredo Genovese.
