The 11th edition of the event Leer y Comer promises a lot of ingredients: chefs, writers, food trucks, books, workshops, games, talks and much more. Guests include major local writers, including Alejandro Dolina, Alfredo Leuco, Bernardo Stamateas, Jorge Fernández Díaz, Cayetana Vidal, Claudia Piñeiro, Facundo Manes, Donato de Santis, Fernando Trocca, Silvia Plager, Maru Botana, Nicolás Artusi, Felicitas Pizarro, Nicolás and Miguel Wiñazki, and many more.
As well as themed talks and book launches, there'll be a host of activities for all the family. On Saturday 14 @Papacocina (Maximiliano Kupferman) gives a talk and cookery class for kids, and at 3pm there's a painting workshop for all ages working with recycled dolls for. On Sunday at 1.30pm, there's the premiere of Teatro Breve de Margen del Mundo, four 15-minute plays and at 3pm a mini-chef workshop for kids aged 4 to 12, after which they'll be able to take their culinary creations home with them. Also on the Sunday, at 4pm, there's a healthy food class, "Mejor Casero,” or "better homemade". Across the two days, there'll also be facepainting, a treasurehunt, lectures, games, puppers and other activities in the kids' space.
