News: Increase in international tourist arrivals to Buenos Aires for the 16th consecutive month

194,464 foreign visitors arrived at Jorge Newbery and Ezeiza airports in November 2017 - a 5.2% increase on the previous year.

Tourism in Buenos Aires continues to see sustained growth, with 16 consecutive months of increases in tourist numbers arriving at Jorge Newbery and Ezeiza airports compared to the previous year.

November 2017 saw 194,464 foreign tourist arrivals - an increase of 5.2% on the previous year, with a 5.5% increase in visitors from Brazil and a 18.4% increase in visitors from the United States.  The first 11 months of 2017 saw a total of 1.74 million foreign visitors arrive in Buenos Aires by air (+4.6%), according to a report by the city tourist board's Department of Market Intelligence, based on the International Tourism Survey (ETI-Indec) and other sources of statistics.

Hotel occupation by local tourists also showed an increase, with 266,461 staying in hotels in the city in the period January-November 2017.
