As of March 20, 2020 and by Decree 297/20, the entire country entered a period of social,

preventive and obligatory isolation.

What does this mean?

That you cannot leave your home except to provide yourself with essential items, such as food,

cleaning supplies and medicines.

If you do not comply with these rules, you are breaking the law.


If you have traveled to a country where the virus is spreading or have been in contact with

someone who tested positive, you must stay in isolation for 14 days.

If you have any of the symptoms, call free of charge at 107.

News: Buenos Aires holds third meeting with professional associations to continue attracting international events
The event at the Hilton Hotel formed part of the 2016-2019 marketing plan. Medical, scientific and academic associations attended as the city continues to promote itself as a destination for international conferences and congresses. In 2017 Buenos Aires was the host city for the highest number of events in the Americas according to the ICCA ranking.

As part of the city's ongoing MICE marketing plan, the Buenos Aires City Tourist Board organised a third meeting with professional bodies to present a programme to attract and promote international events.

The event took place at the Hilton Hotel and included testimonials from medical professional, who detailed their experiences of having presented the city as a candidate destination for their events. In 2017, Buenos Aires was the city in the Americas that hosted the most international events, aand also beat its historic record at the international level (131), according to the ICCA ranking.

The marketing plan covers three years and the latest breakfast event was attended by three professionals from the Argentine Endodontic Association, who in October proposed Buenos Aires to host the IFEA World Endodontic Congress in 2022.

The event also included the participation of Evelyn Amaya, coordinator of the Latin American market for Inprotur, and Constanza Ibarra, MICE manager at the Buenos Aires City Tourist Board.
