As of March 20, 2020 and by Decree 297/20, the entire country entered a period of social,

preventive and obligatory isolation.

What does this mean?

That you cannot leave your home except to provide yourself with essential items, such as food,

cleaning supplies and medicines.

If you do not comply with these rules, you are breaking the law.


If you have traveled to a country where the virus is spreading or have been in contact with

someone who tested positive, you must stay in isolation for 14 days.

If you have any of the symptoms, call free of charge at 107.

News: Buenos Aires at Fitur 2019
Gonzalo Robredo president of the Buenos Aires City Tourist board, led a destination training session for tourism operators. In its 39th edition, more than 250,000 people attended Spain's biggest tourism fair.

The Buenos Aires City Tourist Board took part alongside Argentina's National Institute for the Promotion of Tourism (INPROTUR) in Fitur 2019, Madrid's biggest international tourism trade show.

Every year, key players in the travel industry in Spain and the rest of Europe including tourism operators, travel agents, specialist media and the general public gather at the event.

This year Gonzalo Robredo, president of the Buenos Aires City Tourist Board, alongside the Argentine Hotels Association, AHT, and the Buenos Aires Association of Travel Agents and Tourism, AVIABUE, organised a reception and a destination presentation of Buenos Aires for more than 30 Spanish tourism operators who had the opportunity to interact with city providers at the fair. The presentation highlighted Buenos Aires' cultural attractions, tourism activities and agenda of events for 2019.
