As of March 20, 2020 and by Decree 297/20, the entire country entered a period of social,

preventive and obligatory isolation.

What does this mean?

That you cannot leave your home except to provide yourself with essential items, such as food,

cleaning supplies and medicines.

If you do not comply with these rules, you are breaking the law.

If you have traveled to a country where the virus is spreading or have been in contact with

someone who tested positive, you must stay in isolation for 14 days.

If you have any of the symptoms, call free of charge at 107.

Matear
Don’t miss the festival dedicated to the drink that’s such an essential part of Argentine culture.

Matear

When?
November 2020
Where?
La Rural, Av. Sarmiento 2704.

Mate, Argentina’s national infusion, drank all day in all places, clearly deserved its own festival, and here it is.

Over two days, you can learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the mate infusion, buy lesser known varieties of yerba (the green leaves used to make the infusion) direct from producers, discover other, unexpected uses of the plant, attend talks and workshops and enjoy food and cocktails.

The expo is designed for all the family. Kids can play in the Mate Kids space and the playground while older ones can enjoy art, take advantage of the different offers from producers and relax in the mate patio.

Wherever there’s an Argentine, there’s mate, and wherever there is mate, there’s a story to hear. Come to hear the stories and share yours at Matear.

Entry is free.
