  • Parque de los Niños, junction of Av. Cantilo (Colectora) and Av. General Paz. Núñez neighbourhood.
  • Parque Indoamericano, junction of Av. Escalada y Av. Castañares. Villa Soldati neighbourhood.
When?
From January 10th to March 1st. Tuesday - Sunday, and public holidays, 10.00am - 8.00pm.

How to get to the beaches:

Use the interactive map: mapa.buenosaires.gob.ar/comollego/, input your departure point and the address of the beach you want to go to, and the map will trace the best route to take using your chosen means of transport.

The beaches

In January, February and March, you can enjoy summer in the city with Buenos Aires' very own beaches on the banks of the Rio de la Plata.

Every summer, you can enjoy a trip to the beach without leaving the city, complete with parasols, sun loungers, showers, and a host of activities for all the family. There's even free wifi connection. The artificial sandy beaches are set up every year in Parque de los Niños and the Parque Indoamericano.

There will be sports activities, reading sectors, race track for pedal cars for children, road education with recreational and educational activities, classes to learn how to ride a bike for adults and children, vegetable garden workshops, science, body expression, recycling , screen printing, creative writing, circus and percussion. Inflatable games and games in the sand. Water games on the south beach of Parque Indoamericano and on the north beach in Parque de los Niños, to enjoy and cool off.

Other: 

- Chess: free classes and tournaments for the whole family.
- Ping pong and table football for all ages.
- Giant games: checkers, dominoes, jenga, Chinese sticks, chess, tangrams.

The parks have different sectors specially designed for children, such as the Little Sand School and areas for painting and drawing.

There is also an exclusive sector for children from 1 to 5 years old, conditioned with shade and games according to their age.

Access to the beaches and all the installations and activities is completely free and open to all. 

 

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and pets are not allowed.
