Buenos Aires Beach

In January and February, you can enjoy summer in the city with Buenos Aires' very own beaches on the banks of the Rio de la Plata.

Every summer, you can enjoy a trip to the beach without leaving the city, complete with parasols, sun loungers, showers, and a host of sporting activities for all the family. There's even free wifi connection. The artificial sandy beaches are set up every year in Parque de los Niños and the Parque Indoamericano. Access to the beaches and all the installations and activities is completely free and open to all. 


  • Parque de los Niños, junction of Av. Cantilo (Colectora) and Av. General Paz. Núñez neighbourhood.
  • Parque Indoamericano, junction of Av. Escalada y Av. Castañares. Villa Soldati neighbourhood.


During the summer season (January and February). Tuesday - Sunday, and public holidays, 10.00am - 8.00pm.

How to get to the beaches:

Use the interactive map: mapa.buenosaires.gob.ar/comollego/, input your departure point and the addess of the beach you want to go to, and the map will trace the best route to take using your chosen means of transport.


Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and pets are not allowed.
