BAFICI, the Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema, takes place every April bringing together up-and-coming local directors and established international talent.
The festival shows international premieres and screenings of feature films, documentaries throughout the city, as well as hosting talks and presentations from major figures in film. It also hosts competitions in various categories, including best Argentine film, best international film, best avant garde film, and best human rights film.
Advanced tickets are sold online and from Village Recoleta cinema. Entrance to the free screenings in Parque Centenario and Recoleta Cultural Centre will be available before each screening on a first come, first served basis.
