As of March 20, 2020 and by Decree 297/20, the entire country entered a period of social,
preventive and obligatory isolation.

cleaning supplies and medicines.

From Monday April 8 to Sunday April 14, contemporary art takes over the city with a wide of artistic activities in public spaces, arts fairs and cultural institutions.
La Semana del Arte, or Art Week, puts art central stage in the city during one week with a packed programme of activities at participating cultural institutions and foundations alongside activities run by Art Basel Cities: Buenos Aires, and other groups.
The premise is a wide range of artistic activities that bring together spaces, institutions and different expressions and audiences centring on a free interdiscipinary agenda hosted at Parque Semana del Arte with public exhibitions from Argentine artists, a pavillion with dairy events and a series of outdoor cinema screenings led by the BAFICI film festival as another site for the festival.
A series of talks organised by Art Basel Cities: Buenos Aires will be run as part of the event in conjunction with the ArteBA Fundación.
